Sensei Andrew Tate started his Karate training in March 1982 at the age of 19, and has actively trained ever since. In June 2001 he moved to Okinawa Japan, where he studied on a daily bases with Grandmaster Fusei Kise and his son Kaicho Isao Kise. He returned to England in July 2004. In November 2006 he started teaching Adult and Children’s classes at the Sports Centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. He teaches Children from the age of 7 years old.

About Us We are professional martial artists and experienced instructors many of whom hold graduate academic degrees and advanced martial arts certification. We teach traditional Matsumura Seito Karate and Kobudo under the direction of Grand Master Fusei Kise of Okinawa, Japan. Grand Master Kise is one of the preeminent martial artists and teachers in the world today and shares his expertise freely.

Training We teach and train in the traditional arts because we understand the value to today's society. The lessons that we learn in the dojo enable us to become more physically fit, emotionally balanced and intellectually aware and alert. We also are propagating an art that is in danger of extinction unless we share its benefits and secrets with the modern world.
